Eucalyptus - Lemon Bush

$10.00
Sold Out

This plant is an annual in our area and must be brought in for the winter before temperature dips below 50 degrees. Grow up to 36" tall in our area. Produces a strong citronella fragrance. Leaves and stems turn a red color in late summer/fall. They do not like root disturbance, so do not break or mess with the roots when transplanting. This is also not a plant you can plant in the ground and dig up later. Eucalyptus is a great container plant. Bump to a bigger pot and set outside for the summer, then move the plants in the house near a window to over winter. Great for fresh cuts, dried, or preserved. If you are going to harvest stems, do so in late summer/fall when leaves start to feel rubbery.

Pre-order now, pick up in May. Will come in a quart pot and should be transplanted into a bigger pot or directly into the ground within 2 weeks.
